Friends of Jon Sebben

This blog is being setup on behalf of "Friends of Jon Sebben", a group of concerned individuals trying to help a friend in need. Jon was diagnosed with testicular cancer in December 2008. We are currently in the planning stages to organize a silent auction and dinner on August 16, 2009 at St. Boniface Church in Waukee, IA in an effort to help the Sebben family with the ongoing financial concerns they are faced with. Jon has been unable to return to work, and his wife, Crystal Godfrey Sebben, has had to take substantial amounts of time off from work for hospitalizations, doctor’s appointments, rehabilitation appointments, etc. and the financial costs continue to grow. We are currently asking for any donations that can be made for the silent auction to be used as big-ticket items or to be packaged with other smaller items in a basket. We are also asking for monetary donations as well. All donations will be tax deductible and the tax id number that has been set up for Jon Sebben is #90-0478825.

We will be using this blog address as a means to keep everyone updated about what items will be available for the auction and raffle. Please check back soon to see what will be available. We hope to see you on August 16th!
